4" Skyjacker / Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs

Having researched leaf springs prior to my Skyjacker 2" springs, I knew I wanted to stick with Skyjacker for my 4" - not to mention how pleased I was with the 2" springs.

The only changes I made were using longer shocks in the rear and moving my rear shocks to the front. Also, I used 1.5" square tubing as a spacer for my front bump-stop. This should keep the tires out of the fender flares and prevent the shocks from bottoming out.

I'm now running 33x12.50 R15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs. Wow, these tires are fantastic. I had to have them re-balanced after they were first mounted, but I think it was because they static balanced them. When I brought them back, they used the speed balancer, and they're much smoother now. These Goodyear's are quieter than by previous BFG MTs. One tip: run lower air pressure in these tires. I found that I was still getting mild vibrations from the tires above 60mph, but after reducing the air pressure the vibrations went away. I was running about 28psi for the street, now I'm running around 24psi. It doesn't sound like much, but it makes a noticable difference on the highway.
