Teralow 4:1 Dana 300 gears

I couldn't pass up a great deal on a Teralow 4:1 gearset for my Dana 300 at Jims Offroad in Oak
Ridge, TN. I purchased the gears late in 2003, and they sat in my basement for months before I
finally got around to installing them. Wow - what a difference. I don't know how I ever drove
my Jeep offroad without lower gearing, and the 4 to 1's sure work great. Here are a few
installation pics. For anyone performing this installation, notice that I did not grind enough
of the case material to allow installation of the intermediate gear, and I wound up loosening the
front output to get the intermediate gear to clear the case. So grind more than I did to prevent this.
